Watch for breeders that say their dogs are registered with CKC (Continental Kennel Club).  These dogs are not reconized by AKC nor do they meet the standard established by AKC.

Don't mistake CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) as I did when I first saw the CKC letters.  Clubs from the following countries are reconized by the American Kennel Club (AKC)
